Alkaline care for over-acidified skin
Our skin is not only a protective organ, but also an excretory organ. It absorbs many substances, but also excretes waste products via the sweat and sebaceous glands. These excretory products usually have an acidic pH value. The skin is often a mirror of our mental and physical state. If our body becomes over-acidified, e.g. due to a high-sugar diet or stress, more degradation products can also accumulate in the skin.
How can I tell if my skin is over-acidified?
Healthy skin has a pH value of around 5.5, which can vary from person to person and also depends on dietary habits and age. If the skin is over-acidified, typical symptoms such as dryness and a feeling of tightness as well as skin blemishes occur. At this point, you should get to the bottom of the causes and change your habits if necessary.

Alkaline bath - relaxation for your skin
Our bath additive with an alkaline pH value of 8 to 9 gives the skin the chance to regulate itself. It becomes more permeable again for important nutrients. This ensures a fresh and radiant appearance. In addition, the alkaline bath helps to neutralise the acids on the skin and thus stimulates the regeneration of the skin's own acid mantle.

No bathtub - now what?
If you don't have a bathtub but really want to try our alkaline bath, it can also be used for individual areas of the body without any problems. For example, you can also pour our alkaline bath into a bowl and make an alkaline foot bath or hand bath. We generally recommend a bath duration of 10 to 30 minutes so that the alkaline pH value can have an optimal effect on your skin. Alternatively, you can also use the bath as a shower scrub. Simply rub the salt onto wet skin and then rinse off thoroughly. A little added value: the fine salt crystals stimulate blood circulation in the skin and remove dead skin cells.
