Saunas strengthen the body's defences
Regular sauna treatments followed by cold applications have been proven to strengthen the body's defences and train the body to adapt to changing temperatures. The dry heat in the sauna room dilates the blood vessels. The subsequent cooling narrows them again. This prevents colds, as viruses and bacteria have less chance of spreading. Many viruses and bacteria cannot tolerate high temperatures.
Sauna infusions of the highest quality
Sauna infusions are becoming increasingly popular for sauna bathing. Infusions have an additional heat stimulus and are only carried out towards the end of the stay in the sauna room for reasons of tolerance. The cooling evaporation of sweat from the skin is interrupted by the sudden increase in humidity in the sauna room. This creates a feeling of increased heat on the skin.
