Panthenol
Panthenol (panthenol or pantothenic acid) also known as provitamin B5 is the precursor to a B vitamin. Panthenol is very skin-friendly, which makes it ideal for sensitive skin care. Panthenol helps sooth your skin and clear redness. That’s why we use it in Dresdner Essenz’s After Sun series.
Panthenol is also moisture-binding, anti-inflammatory and regenerative, which contributes to a healthy barrier function of the skin.
